Posts: 1376 Aug 12 10 8:30 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Hi, You cannot retreat the air units and leave the subs. All attacking units must retreat together. However, you could submerge the sub at the start of the second round of combat (assuming the dd is destroyed in round 1) and retreat the air units at the end of the second round. But they cannot retreat and leave the sub to do battle alone. Spud
