This is an historic event, as we introduce the first ever Axis and Allies Revised tournament in IAAPA history.
The entire membership is invited to participate in the 1st annual AAR (4th edition) Moderate Victory Tournmament!
For those of you unfamiliar with AAR, here are the general guidelines:
1) Rulebook - "LHTR v1.3" (Larry Harris Tournament
Rules -- available on the IAAPA BBS)
2) Victory Conditions - Must have 9 victory cities
under control at the end of a complete round (after US Turn).
3) Bid Clarifications
i. no less than 50% of the bid shall be IPC's
ii. bid units may be placed only in each powers'
initially occupied land or sea space
All those interested in participating can sign up on the BBS or send an email to merkle_IAAPA AT yahoo DOT com. Deadline for entry is September 30. Pairings will be announced on October 1.
Since we are all PVT's or Rookies with AAR, it is time to build up those rankings. And for all of you who always wanted to beat those 2nd edition generals -here's your chance!
