It should never matter what country did what, or got what results (good, bad or truely hideous). The poitn of having erroor correction rules is simply to havea catch-all foramt to resolve these things from an objective standpoint.

Since the battle(s) in question were not rolled correctly, they are not valid, and never happened. Thus, considering how the battle went is unhelpful.

If the players can't come to a fair and acceptable agreement between themselves (which can work sometimes) then we have a clear set of rules to fall back on.

Perhaps IAAPA's error correction rules need to be upgraded with the level of detail AAMC has for this issue.
